Paco Rabanne 1 MillionThe Paco Rabanne 1 Million scent is one of those rare birds that works well with a cologne, aftershave, and body wash. The whole set works fantastic as a trio, but the major downside to all this is the price–it’s not cheap. Due to this downside, I’d generally recommend you just get the cologne and the aftershave, and just substitute in a low or no smell cheaper alternative.

Paco Rabanne 1 Million Aftershave

The aftershave in this set is really not that bad. It has the Paco Rabanne fragrance, and sometimes overly-scented aftershaves will dry your skin out so much it’s not even worth using. However, that’s not the case here, and I can appreciate that. It’s not as soothing as a post-shave moisturizer (no after shave is, really), but it’s one of the better aftershaves I’ve used.

It’s not outrageously priced at around $28, but it’s definitely on the expensive side. However, the extra cost is worth it if you plan on pairing it with the cologne for a consistent scent.

Paco Rabanne 1 Million Cologne

The cologne itself comes in what appears to be a gold bar, and it has a spray button on the back. It sprays out large sprays, which might be more than you wanted to put on. I thought that was pretty annoying at first (I don’t like wearing lots of cologne), but the scent isn’t too overpowering with the allocated amount it sprays out.

Also, as I mentioned in the video, if you get this shipped to you, take the warning that it might break a little along the side in transit. I tested this cologne bottle in a brick and mortar shop, and I didn’t have this problem. I’d recommend picking this up in a “real” store.

This cologne will run you just under $60, which is a lot for me–personally. I’m not in a position to throw $60 on cologne when places like T.J. Maxx have perpetual sales on similarly-situated colognes. It’s worth checking those sale stores for Paco Rabanne–you might get lucky.

Paco Rabanne 1 Million Shower Gel

Skip it. The “1 Million” shower gel is not worth the $30 price tag. That’s just way too much for something like this. It’s not even that great at what it does, but you at least have the same scent family throughout your grooming routine. Additionally, the bottle is extremely small for something you use to wash your entire body, which doesn’t help the cause.

I suggest skipping this portion of the trio and picking up an unscented body wash, or a body wash that doesn’t have a lingering scent. If you use the cologne and aftershave you will still have enough scent to go around–no need to spend money on this subpar body wash just because it’s gold-colored.

Overall, the trio is pretty solid for sure, it’s just a bit overkill with the body wash. It really depends on if you’re a fan of the scent or not. It’s appropriate for spring, as it’s filled with warm, earthy/herbal notes. If you want to see these three in action, check out the video below and consider subscribing to us on YouTube.
