Anthony Logistics Shave Cream

I’ve reviewed a lot of stuff from Anthony Logistics over the past week or so, and for good reason. Not only did they send me a huge box of stuff, but they have a reputation of being one of the better grooming product companies on the market. The Anthony Logistics Shave Cream is no exception to their reputation.

The Anthony Logistics Shave Cream has aloe vera, eucalyptus extract, and rosemary oil in the ingredients list. This results in a really great smell upon lather, and a soothing, enjoyable shave. The potentially bad thing is this shave cream contains parabens (if you even care about that), so if that matters to you, now you know. Also, as usual, the Anthony Logistics brand donates a portion of the proceeds from the sale to prostate cancer research, which is noble.

First of all, as you can see in the video review below, this shave cream has a fantastic lather to it. I’m tempted to say it’s the best I’ve come across, but I don’t know that I’m ready to dethrone the king yet. Let’s just say Anthony Logistics comes really close in overall quality. The lather explodes all over your bowl within 20 seconds or so, and it’s just as impressively-thick. When I tried to wash out my bowl and brush after the shave, the lather was so thick it wouldn’t go down the drain. I had to run the water over it for longer than normal to break it up enough to go down the drain. That is serious business.

The shave itself was very relaxing. The aloe is a nice touch, and there was nothing drying about the shave. The lather wasn’t evaporating before my very eyes, and stayed the same consistency throughout the three applications on my face. That’s what you should look for in a quality shaving cream, and that’s what I found here.

The only bad part about this shaving cream is how it gets stuck in the bottle when you try to squirt some out. You’ll see it explode out in the video review, and after I shaved I tried the lather test 4 more times (to make sure it wasn’t a fluke) and each time the cream had issues coming out of the bottle with any sort of consistency. That’s not really a big deal, it’s just messy and mildly annoying–like when ketchup gets stuck in the bottle.

You can pick some of this shave cream up from Amazon for $16 for 8 ounces, or go to the official Anthony Logistics website.
