Michio Kaku is the man. Not only is he one of the smartest and most famous physicists alive, he has an extreme level of comprehensibility–taking some of the most complex scientific ideas and breaking them down into terms a high school student could understand. To me, this is a true measure of genius–if you can explain it, you know it, and professor Kaku knows physics. I offer the approximately 45 minute video below without much commentary, other than its topic. Professor Kaku covers the history of theories of the universe in an engaging, objective, and thorough manner. Watching this video should build on your knowledge of basic physics, or enlighten you to new stories, theories, and ideas that might have passed you by in the past, allowing you to become scientifically literate. Sit back and enjoy.
