Guys: our skin needs help. We sweat, we have oily skin (most of us), and we get dirty. The problem is, most guys don’t properly clean their face–I know you use that bar soap, I can see you. This needs to change.
Luckily for you, urth skin solutions has you covered. The geniuses over there made this scrub that is so natural you could probably eat it (but don’t waste this goodness on that!). The natural ingredients mean you won’t get chemical burns from crazy ingredients that just end up leaving your skin dry and cracked. The scrub has active ingredients like rosemary oil, tea tree oil, soy, peppermint oil, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E, just to name a few.
So, what does it do? The scrub is a coarse, dense formulation that… well… scrubs your skin down and gets into your pores to clean out all the oxidized oils that clog up your pores. Using this product 2-3 times a week will help maintain clean pores and prevent blackheads and impurities.
To use it, you simply get your face wet and scoop out a dab (you can always go back for more if you need it–start small) and apply it evenly across your face. Then scrub your face in a circular motion over your cheeks, forehead, chin, and neck areas. You will feel the rice granules on your face–it’s like tiny rocks. Go slow, and massage them in there. If you go too fast you will just irritate your skin, and the scrub is supposed to help, not hurt. After a few minutes, wash it off and dry your face.
When I used it, the first thing that jumped out was the smell–in the best way possible. I love the tea tree oil smell, and it smells like something straight from the urth (bad pun, I had to do it). You want to stay away from products with artificial scents in them, because some of those products will wreck havoc on your skin because they are more scents than scrubs. However, you won’t have to worry about that with urth’s scrub because it’s all natrual.

Once I was done admiring the smell, I went through the process previously detailed. Immediately after scrubbing I could immediately feel an improvement. I saw my pores open up, and my face felt like a baby’s butt and smelled like a fresh spring in the woods. So excellent. I first used this as a pre-shave cleanser, and it greatly improved my shaving experience as well (no doubt aided by urth’s great shaving formula).
I’ve used the scrub about 5 times now with regularity, and I can fully say it has done wonders for my exceptionally-oily skin.
