Baths is the project of a 21-year old Will Wiesenfeld and was my favorite musical find of the entire year of 2011. Wiesenfeld’s music is incredibly unique, yet entirely comfortable for me.

The video for “Lovely Bloodflow” is a great depiction of how I view the song: both unique and comfortable. The video’s uniqueness stems from its quiet subtlety–the video would be just as intriguing if it were silent. The comfortableness comes from the video’s archetypes–souls rising from death, submerged confusion, and forest saviors.
